The Glade at Rosliston
This hidden gem is set in a secluded area of the Rosliston Forestry Centre and is the perfect spot for your special day. With a beautiful hand-carved wooden gazebo which is licenced for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies and a 250 maximum capacity luxurious marquee which can be dressed to your theme.
Elvaston Castle and Gardens
Set within the grounds of Elvaston Castle, the English Garden is the perfect hideaway for wedding ceremonies. The garden hosts a gorgeous cedar wood pagoda licenced for ceremonies set amongst blooming areas of flowers and plants, before moving through the sensory garden for your drinks reception. Adjacent is the Secret Garden which is walled and completely private for your marquee or tipi. Ceremonies are also available in the wonderfully dramatic Gothic Hall.
Sir John Moore
This quirky venue is one of the few venues to offer history, heritage and a museum as part of its package, with charm and character in abundance. Sir John Moore’s main hall is a unique space which lends itself to any theme or idea you may have in mind, whilst keeping the traditionalist aspect of the venue. Its outdoor space and cellar bar give those little extras for a unique wedding day.
Norton Fields Barn
Hidden away in Norton Juxta, this renovated barn is a gorgeous setting giving a very rustic feel. Filled with character and warmth, it holds up to 200 guests and looks out over stunning views. This venue also hosts recently refurbished stables providing a bridal suite and accommodation onsite for up to 14 guests, making it the perfect location to spend a few days around your big day.

Set in the middle of the countryside, Cattows Farm’s elevated position gives stunning panoramic views over open countryside – not to mention fabulous sunsets. Ideal for either a Tipi or traditional marquee, tailor your special day for it to be exactly how you want it.
Holme Pierrepont Hall
Offering beautiful gardens and traditional interiors, Holme Pierrepont hall is a gorgeous licenced venue but also perfectly situated next to St Edmunds Church should you prefer a church ceremony. It’s secluded garden areas and separate rooms inside give a very classic feel, perfect for traditional weddings.
Galleries of Justice
If you are looking for a sophisticated and grand wedding in an unconventional venue, Galleries of Justice is ideal. Steeped in history and offering a unique Grade II listed building, it is truly beautiful and offers an insight into the history of Nottingham with the onsite museum and court areas.
Burton Town Hall
This elegant, unique and versatile venue is Grade II listed and provides the perfect backdrop for your special day. With the Gothic Main Hall offering a grand space for up to 350 guests, or a more intimate affair in the oak panelled Lingen Room, the venue provides an elegant experience of times gone by.
Built in 1609, Tissington Hall has presided over the picturesque village of Ashbourne and is rich in history. The stunning backdrop provides spectacular views over the village, the grand hall is beautifully traditional and the marquee is set within gorgeous gardens.
Mapperley Park Farm
This beautiful woodland setting is the ideal location for traditional marquees, festival style tipi’s and anything in-between. With gorgeous views and plenty of space, it’s the perfect spot for any special day.
This magnificent Elizabethan mansion is set in beautiful parkland and is a striking example of Renaissance domestic architecture. With its commanding position, this historic building with its distinctive rooms provide the perfect romantic atmosphere in its elegant surroundings.
With a range of options on internal rooms and exterior areas, Newstead Abbey is a striking and atmospheric venue based in Nottingham. Suitable for both formal and informal days, it was built in the late 12th century and to this day the house retains much of its medieval character.
With views over the whole of Nottingham, the Castle is ideally placed for a spectacular day. The Long Gallery is an elegant Victorian lined area perfect for wedding breakfasts and the Bandstand is a light and airy space, ideal for drinks receptions.
Melbourne View Hotel
